Haiku My Heart

As through a tree we were made
 debtors to God,
so through a tree we receive
the cancellation of our debt.
~~Saint Iraneaus~~

All is possible
When we release our Ego
And trust in our God!

For through creation
Beauty and serenity
Are to us given.

Feeling Reflecltive

The Sacredness of God's Handiwork

How do we live in creation?  Do we relate to it as a place full of "things" we can use for whatever need we want to fulfill and whatever goal we wish to acomplish?  Or do we see creation first of all as a sacramental reality, a sacred space where God reveals to us the immense bearty of the Divine?

As long as we only use creation, we cannot recognize its sacredness because we are approaching it as if we were its owners.  But when we relate to all that surrounds us as created by the same God who created us and as the place where God appears to us and calls us to worship and adoration, then we are able to recognize the sacredness of all God's handiwork.

I must spend time today in reflection and gratitude for all I am privileged to know and see, love and cherish.  For all are the gifts of the creator and I must come to know its real worth!

The Wonders of God's Creation

Sunrise Over Eastern Colorado

Sunset Over Western Missouri

The Creator's palate is so marvelous that even trying to capture his handiwork on film, does not compare to the real thing. This is just some of the treasures we were able to gather while we were traveling.

Please visit Mary and The Little Red House. Her pictures are grand and so are the pictures of others! As soon as I get used to the new computer and it's new programs I be participating in Mosaic Monday soon I hope
