The Road Less Traveled

HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY

“May your thoughts be as glad as the shamrocks.
 May your heart be as light as a song.
 May each day bring you bright, happy hours.
That stay with you all the year long.”

Took a walk the other day when the weather was unseasonably warm, and reveled in the glory of  God's creation.  I didn't see any snakes, deer, little foxes.  There were no croaking frogs or chirping locust.  Yet in all the silence I heard and felt the "breath of God!"  I was not alone.  Maybe I realized this more that day because I had no time constraints and no particular place to be, but it was a joyful moment on this "road less traveled" with a beloved companion.

~~~~~~
Though the road be long
And the journey's end unknown
Steadfastly go on
Revel in  the breeze
With your silent companion
Experience hope
St. Patrick's Day Tea Talk
Wishing you a rainbow
For sunlight after showers—
Miles and miles of Irish smiles
For golden happy hours—
Shamrocks at your doorway
For luck and laughter too,
And a host of friends that never ends
Each day your whole life through!
Irish Blessing
I'm having...Irish Breakfast Tea with a slice of warm Irish Soda Bread with melted butter.  Tis the season!
My teacup...is my St. Paddy's Day mug.
I'm feeling...a bit tired this morning.  It was a busy day yesterday and I just wanted to stay in bed a bit longer.  I'm also feeling satisfied as the kitchen is coming together and my satisfaction is only increased by the wonder of finding the kitchen table so easily.  The table was only $50 as Feather Your Nest and I had only paid $5 a chair for 4 a few weeks ago at Mother Teresa's Treasures.  I guess I do have a smidgen  the the "Luck."
On my mind...looking ahead to the weekend.  Busy!  Busy!  Going to the Fish Fry at St. Joe's in the County.  Saturday and Sunday will participate in an Enneagram class.  A number of years ago I read a book on it but was never offered the opportunity to discover my personality type.  So I will this weekend!  Really looking forward to it.
Happy St. Patrick's Day
The Claddagh
The Claddagh is a traditional Celtic ring design that symbolizes friendship. The hands are the clasp of friendship, the crown represents loyalty and the heart, love. Moreover, the Claddagh has yet a deeper symbolism--that of the Holy Trinity. The drown represents the Father, The left hand represents the Son and the right had the Holy spirit. The heart is the love that exists between them and the overflows to all creation.
