Awoke to snow at 5:00 a.m. this morning.
It was wet, cold at 34 degrees and some artwork was achieved by Mother Nature.
By 10:00 a.m. the sun was shining and the snow was gone. The Bradford pear was in all its glory.
The leaves on the rose bushes were grateful for the absence of snow. Those are tears of joy!
Wishing all a warmer week with April weather to which we are more accustomed.

ReplyDeleteAh ... the Bradford Pear ... a lovely specimen of a tree, especially when several are planted relatively close to each other ... drawing Spring inspiration from those of you that are a few weeks ahead of us!

Spring seems odd this year. We go from heat and humidity, to cool, and back again. I know you are tired of snow -- but those of us who never see snow -- it is pretty to look at! Your Bradford pear is spectacular. Happy Monday!

ReplyDeleteYou're right, April never seems to be able to make up its mind. However, I'm sure that my family on the west coast are enjoying more flowers and more green lawns that I am out here on the prairie where the cold winds blow.
