  1. Hello Cathy
Happy President's Day to you Cathy. I must admit, it isn't a day I know anything about but I can see it is a great day for my American friends and relatives. So have a good day! I also enjoyed the wonderful Sousa (is it 'Hands Across the Sea'?). I also LOVE A WHOLE LOT your great Irish theme! Way to go Cathy!

Today is also the 100th anniversary of the birth of Irena Sendler, a Polish woman who saved the lives of thousands of Jewish children during WWII. I've posted a video of her this morning to honour her on the centenary of her birth. She was quite a woman. You might like to see the video. I think you will be impressed with this little lady.

Thanks for a great blog. God bless you Cathy.

  2. Happy Presidents Day to you, Cathy! I have had the privilege to see Mt. Rushmore personally and it is one of magnificent scupltures in history. The enormity of the faces is unbelievable. South Dakota also has some very beautiful trees and mountains. That was a wonderful trip in my childhood with my mom, dad, and sister.

Sending you best wishes for a blessed week!
