Icing In My Backyard

When we woke up this week to the results of an overnight ice storm it was clear we were going nowhere that day and for the first time in a long time not because of COVID-19.

Mother Natures artistry was on display with all her ice sculptures.  And my fine feathered friends seem no worse for wear.  Making sure they are fed is a top priority.

 Finally,

Happy Valentine's Day

A Cardinal Event

This gentleman brightened my day yesterday as we were again confined to home, not because of pandemic but because of the weather.  Though the ice is lovely to see it is Mother Nature's reminder that she is in control and you have to follow her rules.  We were  fortunate that we did not lose power but we were nonetheless careful and followed "Mother's" rules.  Yes, we did!

It finally happened...

Yesterday, it snowed! Yep! It did. It was such a beautiful sight. Wow!! It started about 3:30 p.m. The kids were already home from school because of concern about the storm.

And then it turned to freezing rain! In all His glory God can change his palate and turn the same scene into a different texture.

And so it is with the Master Artisan! He exchanges beauty for beauty.

And now I must get ready to venture out into His handiwork! I wish you all a Grand Day!!

And for this day
