Very Funny Joke

Because it's the season when we can use all the help we can get when preparing for the celebration I thought I'd share this bit of humor a friend sent me today.  I know for I could use his services...

A woman was sitting at a bar enjoying an after work cocktail with her  girlfriends when Steven, a tall, exceptionally handsome, extremely sexy,  middle-aged man entered. He was so striking that the woman could not take  her eyes off him .

This seasoned yet playful heartthrob noticed her overly attentive stare and  walked directly toward her. (As any man would.) Before she could offer her  apologies for staring so rudely, he leaned over and whispered to her,  "I'll  do anything, absolutely anything, that you want me to do, no matter  how  kinky, for $20.00 ... on one condition ..."

Flabbergasted but intrigued, the woman asked what the condition was.  The  man replied, "You have to tell me what you want me to do in just  three  words. "

The woman considered his proposition for a  moment, and then slowly removed  $20 bill from her purse, which she pressed into the man's hand along with  her address. She looked deeply  and passionately into his eyes, barely  concealing her anticipation  and excitement, and slowly and meaningfully  said....

"Clean my house."

Wishing all a wonderful day!!!

Spring Cleaning and Tea Talk

I'm having...blackberry tea.  Very flavorful and with a bit of Splenda quite a nice way to begin the day.

My teacup...one of my favorite dainty teacups.
I'm feeling...like sitting here is not what I should be doing, as I have committed myself to Spring Cleaning the next two days.  Spring Cleaning has taken on a whole new meaning this year.   It's more like cleaning up after a disaster.  Cleaning to get things back in order.  And believe me there is a LOT of disorder here.

On my mind...is the order in which I am to begin this endeavor.  Do I start in the bedrooms, or the Family Room.  UGH!  The living room has to be last because the dining room still has saws, and compressors and tools...(SIGH)  Oh, Cathy!  Just get started!!!

My second favorite household chore is ironing.
My first being hitting my head on the top bunk
bed until I faint.

Before and After...

I did it!!!!!!!

It took a couple of days and commitment and the avoidance of distraction but I did it!!! I cleaned up the office and my space...The hard part was the avoidance of distraction. That is what has taken me so long to clean the office in the first place. I'd find something and get side-tracked. Start reading something and poof the time was gone. BUT not this time...NO!!! I DID IT! Now how long it will last I cannot tell.

BEFORE

AFTER

Have you any Spring Cleaning Nightmares to share? Wishing you all a productive Spring Day.

Well, I'm up and on a mission...Yep, I have a LIST!! Haven't done house cleaning this way in years. As a matter of fact can't remember the last time I cleaned like this. You know, organized, using the time efficiently without distraction. It's really an experiment to see if I can even do it. So, wish me luck! Will let you know how this "Work List" thing works out! Should be easy today. It's raining!
