I like the haiku and the photo. I guess it was an impoertant event in the day, to hitch a wagon and travel. Trips that take us mere hours took days of preparation and actual travel time. I can't imagine. I looked at your Adventure series photos from 2002 in Montana. I do a feature called monday Mystery Tour where I relive with photos and stories trips I have taken throughout the years. I don't get to do it every week, but I usually make 2 Mondays per month. I guess I'm saying like minds think alike as your Adventure shots are similar, and micely done.
I love the idea of finding glory in each day that we live and "hitching your wagon to a star" is such an amazing and hopeful phrase, probably originating with finding one's way by the stars at night. It also bodes well for one's destiny. Would that life were always so simple. Lovely. Noelle
